The story behind Project PARA

Just over a year ago, I began binge-watching ghost-hunting videos on YouTube. Initially, I was highly skeptical, suspecting the devices used might be manipulated to produce misleading results or that YouTubers might even be fabricating their findings. Without the financial resources to purchase and dissect the circuitry of these products myself, I opted for the next best course of action - creating my own.

I also noted a lack of scientific rigor in the tests conducted by many of the ghost hunters. However, if the devices they were using were legitimate, some of the "evidence" they presented was definitely intriguing. This piqued my interest, prompting me to conduct my own experiments. My uncle generously rented out the Lotz House in Franklin, TN, for me to test my products. Equipped with my motion sensors, an EMF detector, and an SB7 spirit box (with the antenna removed), I encountered phenomena I couldn't scientifically explain.

While I remain uncertain about the existence of ghosts, the experience has led me to believe that this field warrants further investigation with scientific rigor. On the information page, I've provided guidance on how to approach ghost hunting, methodically, along with information about why much of the equipment and testing by ghost hunters is problematic. It's worth a read if you're interested in elevating your ghost hunting to the next level. If you want to share any evidence you collect, including video, audio, or personal accounts, I'd welcome it. My email is listed at the bottom of this page.
